A Day, Just An Ordinary Day...
Today was a normal Sunday. I watched some tv, some movies, cleaned up a little and made dinner. Yay! How fun!
Yesterday, Jennie & I went to dinner at Baton Rouge ... nothing like a $30 Filet Migneon! And then we went to watch Marky Mark, Andre 3000 & Tyrese in "Four Brothers". I have to say, there was much more violence than i expected, but the movie was very funny, and touching and sad and everything! It was all in all a great movie Strongly recommend it to everyone!
Friday Amara, Yara, Rebecca & I went out to the "shwa" - The Oshawa Shopping Centre to see Alicia. It was a Back -To- School Registration Fair, and Alicia had her little booth. We Went for dinner at Greek before heading out, and then we went to the Pickering Town Centre first by accident. Once at the Shwa, we saw Cynthia's Creative Dance Arts doing their little show. It was pretty good...Then we spent the next hour or so with Alicia at her little booth. It was fun. Then when we got back to Amara & Yara's house, we played a game of Sorry, and they showed me all their old barbies and toys -LOL, and then I think we watched some tv, and we played Song Charades, and then it was 1am and I went home.
My week leading up to that was pretty uneventful. But on Thursday, Melissa, Sylvia & I had dinner at Swiss Chalet, and then went downtown to the fFiDA dance show at the Distillery District. Mary-Anne had a piece that she was dancing in & that she choreographed in the show. It was modern...so i was a little nervous about it, but she did an AWESOME job!!! The first number in the show was...um...a bit of a stretch for me. But the 3rd number was pretty good too. Then on the way home we went to Hollywood Gelato for some dessert. All in all it was a pretty good day!

BACKSTREET's BACK ALRIGHT!!!
Toronto, Ontario - Molsen Ampitheatre.
Well, where does one even start to describe something they've been waiting for, for 4 years?!? I think, PHENOMINAL, MAGNIFICENT, AMAZING, and AWESOME are a good place to start.
The Boys opened with a video montage of the past...hysteria that used to surround them, when the video screen went blank, the Boys appeared, and the began to perform "The Call". Of course the Boys were greeted by screams and howls from (us), and the rest of the crowd!
Next up was "Beautiful Woman"...a song off of 'Never Gone' that i quite enjoy! I loved the dancing, and everything the Boys did. Throughout the next set, the Boys performed many of their staples like "Shape of My Heart", and "More Than That" before they broke into "Climbing the Walls".
One of the things I was wondering going into the concert was if the Boys would just be sitting around singing, or if we were going to have some dancing. And when they busted out the old dance moves for "The One" I knew it was a good sign for the rest of the night!
Some other songs the Boys performed were ... "Show Me The Meaning of Being Lonely", and "As Long As You Love Me". They also used different video vignettes during costume changes showcasing highlights from different albums. It was awesome when they showed clips from the very first BSB album, from back in 1994!! Those were the days!
The stage was rather subdued from the ones we're used to in the past, but they did bust out some confetti which was to resemble snow during "Siberia". Now everyone knows that Brian has always had some issues with the complicated dance moves, i have to say, he seems SOO much looser than in past years, and I was quite impressed by the timing and height of his jump during "Just Want You To Know" with the display of pyrotechnics!!! Now of course, my Nicholas busted out the electric guitar for this song as well....how enjoyable that was for me :)
The dancing continued in true Backstreet Boy fashion for "Larger Than Life", "I Want It That Way" and "Quit Playing Games (With My Heart)". Sad that I remembered most of the dances, and tried to do them from my seat!
The Boys did 2 encores last night...the first, a piano was brought onstage where Kevin remained for the next 2 songs. They started the encore with "Wierd World", and then completed the first encore with "Incomplete". The Boys then came out again for their second encore and performed "Backstreet's Back"!! The song I thought they should have performed to open the show, but ending with it worked too. Again, they were back to the original choreography (minus the floor work) and all was grand with the final crazy pyro at the end!
On a side note from the concert...I was told to be quite by the lady in front of me...apparently my screaming was too loud for her daughter, who ALREADY had earplugs in...COMMON this is a CONCERT! I paid good money to scream my lungs out and as much as I wanted to be nice, I waited 4 years to scream like this, so i continued!
All in all, it was definatly worth the wait! I love my Boys, and seeing them last night was just awesome! BUFFALO HERE WE COME!!!
What a long 48 hours it was for me! Friday Morning, I was up at 7am, to head over to the Epik's house to pick up Kendra and take her to camp for her last day. After i dropped her off, i had to make a few stops on the way home. One was to Home Depot to pick up a gift card for Atik, then i had to hit the bank and get my money changed over. After that i headed home, where i was hoping to have a nap before getting ready.
Unfortunaly for me, i still hadn't packed. So i ran around packing and getting myself ready to leave the house by 1230pm. Who woulda thought it would take me 3 hours to do all of that! I was out of the house by 1230pm and then headed back to the Epik's house to pick Diane up and head downtown for Kendra's show. The show was to start at 2pm, and we got down there in record time. Parked the car and headed into the building.
We sat around and waited for about 45 minutes before we were ushered into the back studio. Silly me, decided to sit down in the backrow. Of course it wasn't raised seating, and so for most of the show, all i saw was the back of the ladies head in front of me. I could have stood up, but by the time i realized to do that, the standing area was already 2 rows deep! I was able to see most of the body movements, just not much footwork. And let me just say, these people go ALL out! There were so many flowers and presents...as if it was a full end of year show or something - i mean it was only 3 weeks!!! And they clap at EVERYTHING! I was kinda getting tired like 2 dances into the show. All in all, it was a good show, the kids all did a great job.
After the show, we headed to Mr. Greek Junior for lunch. Grabbed a quick bite, then i dropped Diane & Kendra off at home and went out to pick up Melissa. When i got to Melissa's apartment, she was already downstairs with her bags, and her wedding dress. We raced down to the store since everyone was extremly anxious to get on the road. When we got to the store, Melissa tried on her wedding dress for us, which i have to say is beautiful (note the pictures below). And then we got the store closed up, the car packed and headed out to Buffalo.
We were at the border crossing by 730pm. There were DOGS going up and down the rows of cars! In all my years of crossing the border, that was definatly a first! We got across the border then took the 190 south to the 290 east and exited Niagra Falls Blvd. and proceeded to the Holiday Inn. It was a nice hotel with of course and indoor pool. We were barely in the room when everyone started jumping up ready to go swimming (and I thought I was the crazy one!)
We were in the pool by 830pm, and didn't get out till around 10pm. Between the pool and the hot tub, it was loads of fun. Katie let me try the Dirty Dancing lift, which i ALMOST got, before Katie's hip bone went RIGHT into my shoulder! After our lovely swim, we went upstairs and got ready to go for dinner. We went right down the street to the Denny's! OMG we were all soo stuffed after it was crazy!
When we got back to the room, Katie was the first one changed and in bed, and pretty much fell right asleep when her head hit the pillow. Sylvia and Melissa got to share the King Bed, and Katie and I shared the double couch. Which actually was pretty good to sleep in! Sylvia & Melissa were up and in the pool by 630 the next morning, and as much as I wanted to join them, i couldn't even open my eyes. Katie & I slept till 830 when they came back, and then we all got ready to head out to breakfast.
We went to Denny's again (but a different Denny's) and had a big breakfast so we wouldn't have to worry about lunch. We then headed out to the Walden Galleria Mall. Sylvia & Melissa both got Leather jackets ($80 & $40 respectively), and surprisingly i didn't buy too much at the mall. I got a sweater for my dad that says "I'm Retired Do It Yourself" for only $5.98, and i got some other things but nothing too exciting.
After the mall, we headed down to the Outlet Mall. Where i dropped some good coin at Aeropostale. Got some cute little skirts, a few nice shirts and a zip sweater all for under $25!! And of course there were good sales at Old Navy and Rue 21!!! I mean a skirt for $2.50??!?! What more could u ask for? We had dinner at the mall -- Good ol' Panda Express for me. Then slipped over to Marshall's, where Katie found an interesting napping place (see picture below), and I walked out empty handed!
After Marshall's we were finally off to Target, the one place everyone was waiting for. Melissa found all the stuff for her bathroom, which she was really excited about, and we also got stuff for her kitchen. I got a shirt for my brother for his birthday and of course my Treseme which i desperatly needed!
We then made a quick run to Walmart so i could pick up sheets for my cousin's wedding. And then we headed to the border. I was HOPING to see Joey Fatone and then we wouldn't have to be stopped, but i knew we were going to get taxed! And of course we did, but the guy didn't even look at our receipts, just put down an estimated price and sent us to pay. They didn't have to check the car - thank goodness, cuz it took a LONG time to pack everything away! And then we were on our way back home.
Sylvia was dropped off first, and then Melissa, Katie joined me for the drive back, and made me go into her house and make sure no one else was there lol! And then i was home by about 130am! It was a VERY Long 48 hours, but lots of fun!

Day 2 of Playing Mom!!
So i'm here at the Epik's house, on my way to bed...tomorrow will be Day 3 of Babysitting Kendra...for the past 2 days its been more like playing mom. Waking her up in the morning, getting her ready for dance camp, making breakfast, etc. Its interesting to say the least.
When i dropped Kendra off at camp on Monday moring, i had to stick around for the 'parent meeting'. I did feel kinda silly being the only non-parent there, but she wanted me to stay so i did. Then headed home to my house to finish cleaning before my own parents came home.
When i picked Kendra up from dance camp, we got some ice cream on the way home, and then i made dinner when we got home. We then went swimming at Broadlands Community Pool, came home, had some dessert and went to bed.
Today we did basically the same thing, but i went to work today, and her mom came home from the hospital and was home when we got back from camp, so that was exciting! We got to go swimming again, and this time Cathie joined us. We were in the pool for longer today than yesterday, which is always fun :) We also got to have Swiss Chalet for dinner - yummie! I am staying at least one more night...i might go home tomorrow, at least to sleep, but come back to get Kendra up in the morning. I'm just really missing my own bed and pillows and my icebox of a house! But we'll see...

HAPPY 25th To ME!!
Ok, so i'm a Quater of a Century now!!! How scary is that?!? My birthday started out well. After a late night on Friday of dinner at Greek, and a 1020pm viewing of "Mr. & Mrs. Smith" (great movie) at Town Centre, I was really excited to get to sleep in!!!
I had to work from 2-6pm on my birthday. When i got to the store, there were balloons waiting for me from Sylvia & chocolates from Mary Anne ..::Thanks Guys!!::.. It was a rather quick shift at work, ending with watching 'Legally Blonde'! ..::LOVE that movie!!::.. After work i ran home to get ready for my 'mystery dinner'.
I arrived at the Twins house around 730pm, and hopped into the car to pick nie up from work. Once Lanie was in the car I was instructed to close my eyes - because they forgot the blindfold - until we arrived at our destination. They wanted me to walk with my eyes closed to the restaurant, but i refused! So we ended up at Grazie for dinner - in honour of Pepper :) We had a bit of a wait, but it was well worth it. Between the Azzurro (Purple Haze Martini), the Brushetta Pizza, and the Milano pasta, it was mmm mmm good!!!
After dinner we went back to the Twins house for presents and cake! The cake was beautiful with my name in PINK frosting :) And the presents ...from Len I got a pair of Playboy Bunny earrings, and a MAC Lipglass. From Jennie & the Twins i got a pair of pjs with martini's on them, and a silk top from Old Navy. A sparkly pink hand bag from Old Navy, a pair of towel that have ballet slippers embroydered on them-for competition, an awesome pink bling ring!! A Playboy Bunny toggle bracelet and the piece de resistance ........drumroll please.........a heart shapped TIFFANY's necklace!!!
So after all the presents and the cake, we headed out to Kareoke!! However once we got to our usual haunt, there was going to be a 45 minute wait...so we decided to go upstairs and try another kareoke place. So we went in to Twister Kareoke and they said it'd be a 10 minute wait. So we waitied and it was definatly worth it cuz this place was MUCH less dingy and the people were nicer and they seemed to have a better song selection. So all in all it was a great choice cuz we now have a new kareoke place!!
We got back to the Twins house around 3am, and then up at 7am to drive the Twins and Len to the airport as they left for Panama that day. After that Jennie and I went to Walmart so i could get my dad's Father's Day present. Then i convinced Jennie to come to the studio with me and help me take the pictures off the walls, and then it was time to go home. Once at home, even tho i was SO tired, i decided to start the studio scrapbook. And that kept me busy till about 5pm from 11am, and then i napped, watched tv, and went to bed. It was a crazy long weekend, but a good one! ..::Thanks to everyone for everyone! I Love You All!!::..

BACKSTREET's BACK ALRIGHT!!!
Thats right folks, the Boys are back after a 5 year hiatus with a new album, strong as ever! The new album is called "Never Gone" and i have to say, i love it! I mean of course i'm going to love it, its my boys, but its really great! I of course could have used a few more up-tempos, but beggars can't b e choosers! I'm just glad to have my boys back! So here's my run down of the album...
1. Incomplete -- the lead off single...quite enjoyable...as Jennie says "i'm glad its not a prelude to the rest of the album" lol! But for me that'd be just fine, lots of AJ & Nicky!!
2. Just Want You To Know -- not to bad mid-tempo song. Lots of AJ & Nicky here too. but of course thouroughly enjoyable!
3. Crawling Back To You -- another ballad to mid-tempo song...love it! This one showcases more of nick, brian & aj..."Banging on your front door, my pride spilt on the floor, my hands and knees are bruised and i'm crawling back to you" just love it! And of course Kevy's little "Crawling Back To You" at the end :)
4. Wierd World -- at first not my fave but i have to say is SERIOUSLY growing on me! Sounds sorta like Nicky's solo album..."Send a message to a G.I. in the dessert, said thank you man for bringing another dawn, back here its her and me and we're havin our first baby, and he's out there taking them on" I'm still not 100% on why i love that line so much, but i do!!
5. I Still... -- The beginning of this song sounds like "Butterfly" by accroding to Jennie :0) Another mid-tempo song...lots of B-Rok & Nicky on this one. Nothing too exciting, but still a great song!
6. Poster Girl -- Love this song! A great little up-tempo number. "That the consequences of your actions really are just a game" Lots of AJ, great song for him! "Julie liked to shoplift in stores, right along side the rich and famous" Lol love that line too!
7. Lose It All -- Another ballad...lots of my Nicholas, Kevin & Brian!! "Don't change a thing .. ur perfect as you are" Love KEVY!! He has a couple little solo's on the album -- SOO happy!!! Such a sexy voice he has!!!!
8. Climbing The Walls -- Mid-tempo, Brok heavy song!! "NO i can't let u go, ur a part of me now, caught by the taste of your kiss, and i don't want to know the reason why i can't stay forever like this, now i'm climbing the walls cuz i miss you" The chorus picks up like a typical rock song, so great to 'rock out' to ;)
9. My Beautiful Woman -- This was a song that was leaked early on, but we weren't sure if it was going to make it onto the album. I loved it when i first heard it cuz its different, and they funked it up even more for the album!! Its awesome! Another Nicky & AJ --those coarser voices just make it so sexy :) "B is for beautiful as the sunshine, E tells me everything's feeling alright, A goes to U and me swinging in time, T is to i want you, You've got me acting like a fool" I just love this song! Its just awesome! I think one of my faves on the album by far!
10. Safest Place To Hide -- I think this is one of my favourite ballads from the album! Anoher Kevy solo, and lots of Howie D. on this one too :) "I know i promised you forever, there's no stronger word i can use, to reassure you when the storm is raging outside, you're my safest place to hide" I swear i could listen to Kevin sing all day long!!!
11. Siberia -- A very different type of song for the Boys! And to most (Jennie & the Twins) they hated the song cuz they didn't understand it at first .... "Then my heart did time in Siberia, was waiting for the light to come through, cuz its all so dark and mysterious, when the one you want doesn't want you too." This is one song that does take a little analysis. My take on the chorus is like -- when you love someone who doesn't love you back, you feel all alone -- like ur in Siberia, and you're just waiting for the day that that person will realize and shine the light! Cuz you never really know why the person u like doesn't like you back! This song is definatly growing on me too!
12. Never Gone -- The title track to the album is a very pretty, beautiful song. "Never Gone, never far, in my heart is where you are. Always close, everyday, every step along the way. Even tho for now we've got to say goodbye, i know you will be forever in my life. Never Gone" such beautiful sentiments.
All in all i have to say their first studio album in 5 years is a huge success, not to worry i'll keep you posted with record sales info :) Can't wait, they're here in Toronto August 2nd Molsen Ampitheatre!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So excited!!!!!!!!!!!

Its All Over!
Its hard to believe that all this hype, 9.5 months of hard work is all over in one day! But that is how it happens! Of course it would have been good if everything had ended the way i had hoped unfortunatly that was not the case.
First of all, it was so BLOODY hot i thought i was going to pass out! I have not drank more water in 1 day than i did yesterday! It was INSANE!!!!!! Even with the little fans in our rooms, it didn't cool us down too much. Between shows, our costumes didn't even get to dry! It was seriously gross!!! I was like dripping in everything!
The Junior show went pretty well, no HUGE cerfuffles there, but the Senior Show wasn't so hot! First we did our tap dance "Let's Live It Up" and i blanked like 3 times! WTF?!? I've been doing this dance forever and i know what i'm doing, i just don't know what happened. Then we went to do "Hunter" and well.....MY SKIRT FELL DOWN!!! Yes thats right, just slipped right on down to the floor!!! but i kept going cuz what else are you going to do right? Thankfully that was all in the first half of the show. The 2nd half wasn't so bad, I was able to pull off my lyrical and jazz without problems, so that is always good. And the Productions were fine as well.
A bunch of people came this year to the show -- Mimi & Jennie came, and stayed till the end! YAY Not to mention they brought me 2 dozen pink roses (as the picture shows) and some VERY yummie Chocolate Chip Cookies!!! And Mary Anne & Sylvia came (And Preston was there for the end). My mom and Auntie Linda came for the show, and Orietta came too! One of the bigger turn outs for me. Ah well, if only i could have had a better night, but what can u do? Shit happens right?!?
To My Girls :and Robbie: -- I love you all so much! And I'm really gonna miss you guys through the summer! You all did a wonderful job this year and put on a great show! Can't wait to see everyone in September! Don't forget the competitive meeting June 21st :) And to everyone who's graduating from where ever, CONGRATULATIONS! ..::LOVE YOU::..

1 Day To Go!
So here it is, TGIF, one last rehersal to go tonight and then the big Double Bill Tomorrow! Now for someone who has been dancing since the age of 3, WHY THE HELL AM I GETTING NERVOUS?!?!?!? For some odd reason my tummy is already starting to get into knots! How retarded i know. Yesterday there was nothing! Even practicing the productions on stage, NOTHING! And now, working overtime! oye vey! Oh well....we're almost done! A little nervous about my little acro & tap class! I just hope they don't freeze up and that they remember their dances!!! i have faith! Well i better go start getting ready, i'm taking longer and longer these days!

The Busiest Week of my Life!!
So tomorrow starts the week from hell! Thanfully i'm only working Monday 10am-4pm. After which i have dance from 630-8pm. Then tuesday i have nothing to do until dance at 6pm. We have jazz practice from 6-715pm then tap from 715-9pm. Wednesday i have to pick Amara up from Cardinal Carter, then we're going to run to Loblaws so i can get some juice boxes, then we'll pick up Kendra from Claude Watson, then we'll go to Amara & Yara's house for some spagetti dinner, then take Yara with us to the jazz practice form 6-715pm, and tap from 730-9pm. Thursday and Friday are gonna be nutty days!
On thursday i have to pick up Amara from Carter again, and then Kendra from Claude. Then we'll zip home to get Yara, grab some dinner on the fly and be at Birchmount for 5pm! We can do it ;) Then we're at the school till prolly 10pm. Friday, i just have to pick up Amara & Yara and head to the school for 430pm, then we're there again till nearly 10pm, then its time for the Friday Night Mel's Car Club!! LOL. And then Saturday is our show day! Fun times!

Here's another picture going back to April 22nd! Jennie and I at Bubble Tea after Stars On Ice at the ACC! Great show as always! Stupid ass Jennifer Robinson was there tho :( But I got to see SHAE LYNN again! Love her! and of course Kurt is always awesome. And JEFFERY BUTTLE!!! Love him :) And i guess thats it .... oh right how can i forget Jamie & David ..::just for u jennie::.. Great times!
And again our lovely Crabbukkit dancers, with a newlywed couple coming out of City Hall. Since National Tap Dance day is done at Nathan Phillips Square, its quite often that you see newlyweds walking around during the show. Not too often are they dressed in such elaborate wedding gowns! And of course we're the only crazy people nutty enough to ask for a photo! Nice job guys ;)
So i realized that I'm a little behind on updating pictures, so here's one from May 27th. The 11th Annual National Tap Dance Day. Our lovely Company C tappers -- Crabbukkit and their teacher Dena, and little Kendra decided to take a picture with the Goulding Community Dancers. Not to mention the white haired lady middle right...thats Kitty Cohen! 95 years young and still tappin'!!

I GOT MY TACKLE BOX!!!!!!!!!!
So I guess getting a call at 745am and having to get ready and to the Epik household by 815am can work out to be a good thing.
The phone rang at home at 745 this morning and my dad answered and then came to wake me up and tell me it was for me. It was Diane Epik. Kendra was sick and she wanted to know if i could come over and stay with her. She asked what time i had to work at, and i said 10am...not realizing i didn't have to go in till later. So i raced over there and sat with kendra for a while before she was well enough to go into school. I got her to school at 930am (only 1 hour after the bell) and as i was heading home i saw a Canadian Tire (Leslie & Sheppard). I thought this looks like a big one, so why not go in and look for my tackle box on wheels. And what do ya know, I FOUND IT!!! I was SOOO excited you don't even know! It was $49.99, which was a bit steep, but the other one was $99.99, and I've wanted it for over 1 month and so i bought it, let's call it an early birthday present for myself :)
After that I ran into Walmart, bought some hair dye, cuz these roots have got to go. And i bought some flourescent green hangers (like the ones Dena used), since i apparently have too much clothing for the hangers i have right now. I was home for maybe 30 mins and then it was off to work. I brought my tackle box in to show Melissa and started arranging and packing it! We also got some cool new jewlery and accessories at the store which i was left in charge to tag & enter into the computer ..::The Rhinestone chokers! Woo hoo!!!::..
After work i went over to Amara & Yara's to drop off Yara's CD. And I showed them my tackle box too! And then their aunt came home and we chatted until 715pm, when i had to leave and head to the tanning salon! Jennie met me there around 745pm and we went in for our 15 mins collectively! After that i came home...watched Idol ..::YAY CARRIE!!::.. and then Law & Order:CI, and now i'm waiting to rinse the dye out of my hair!
All in all a pretty good day! I GOT MY TACKLE BOX!!! I know i know, i need help, but it was very exciting for me!

!!I LOVE JOEY FATONE!!
So up, relatively early to get what we thought a semi-jump start on the day. Apparently we were very wrong. Jennie & I, ok I was a little late this morning, but we were on the road to Buffalo around like 10:30am. Driving along all is fine, until we start to hit some traffic around Oakville. Everyone knows me and traffic and i'm starting to get antsy. But it wasn't standstill traffic so i was ok. We're driving along and we see a sign that says "Minor Delays @ Queenston Bridge", so we're thinking ok like 10 mins, 20 mins max! We're not even at the freakin Duty Free and cars are at a STAND STILL!!!!!!!!!! I nearly crapped my pants we were standing before the Duty Free for OVER 1 HOUR!!! I was about ready to jump out of the car! We saw 1 lady and 1 guy jump out and head for the bushes to pee...that was funny!
So we finally get through the border and its now 2PM!!!! So not a happy camper. So we're hungry and now can't wait to go all the way to Boulevard. So we run into Big Lots and the Dollar Tree....some how i spend like $20 at each spot! Got lots of stuff tho, so its all good! Then we went to Prime and had some Panda Express Orange Chicken for lunch. We did the mall, 99 cent flip flops at Old Navy!! HELL YA! Then ran through Marshall's and bought nothing :( Did Aeropostale and Footlocker -- $9.00 Pink Converse!!! Then we headed out to Boulevard Mall.
On the way i found that we now have a KOHL's in BLO I'm soo excited! But we didn't stop. Not too many purchases at the mall, Jennie got her tee's from A&F, and i got some awesome lip glosses from Victoria Secrets.
After the mall we headed back down to Prime to pick up a few last minute items. I got us skirts for our Hunter dance -- $4.19 not too shabby! Then it was over to Target. Another sad day when JENNIE spent MORE than me at Target! LOL. After Target was dinner at Denny's filler up and then heading home. Thank God the line up to go home was no where near as long as the one coming over. I told Jennie she had to drive home cuz i was getting crazy tired. We had decided to declare everything since it was a long weekend we figured we'd get pulled over anyways. So Jennie picks a line and we're like oh no we're screwed the line is moving too fast. We pull up beside the border guy and its our buddy Joey Fatone (don't know his real name, but he looks likee Joey). I'm really surprised the guy doesn't know us by now, between being at the crossing or being inside when we have to pay he's like always around when we go to the States. So he asks "Where you from?" we answer "Toronto", "Both of you" "yes". "How long have you been gone?" "Just the Day". "What's the value of goods coming back?" Jennie says "I have about $100 and she has about $140"... we were waiting to see the yellow paper and he goes "Ok, have a nice night". I was soooooooo excited! We NEVER get sent through like that. We normally get pulled over for claiming anything over $60 and now we're getting through with $100+?!? It was awesome, i sooo love Joey Fatone :)
Thats pretty much the end of my night...Jennie drove the rest of the way home we had some good conversation over dinner and the drive...got a lot of things out in the open, and then we picked up her car and headed home. Now i just have to wait till the morning to bring my stuff in so my mom doesn't see it ;)

After the mall we headed back down to Prime to pick up a few last minute items. I got us skirts for our Hunter dance -- $4.19 not too shabby! Then it was over to Target. Another sad day when JENNIE spent MORE than me at Target! LOL. After Target was dinner at Denny's filler up and then heading home. Thank God the line up to go home was no where near as long as the one coming over. I told Jennie she had to drive home cuz i was getting crazy tired. We had decided to declare everything since it was a long weekend we figured we'd get pulled over anyways. So Jennie picks a line and we're like oh no we're screwed the line is moving too fast. We pull up beside the border guy and its our buddy Joey Fatone (don't know his real name, but he looks likee Joey). I'm really surprised the guy doesn't know us by now, between being at the crossing or being inside when we have to pay he's like always around when we go to the States. So he asks "Where you from?" we answer "Toronto", "Both of you" "yes". "How long have you been gone?" "Just the Day". "What's the value of goods coming back?" Jennie says "I have about $100 and she has about $140"... we were waiting to see the yellow paper and he goes "Ok, have a nice night". I was soooooooo excited! We NEVER get sent through like that. We normally get pulled over for claiming anything over $60 and now we're getting through with $100+?!? It was awesome, i sooo love Joey Fatone :)
Thats pretty much the end of my night...Jennie drove the rest of the way home we had some good conversation over dinner and the drive...got a lot of things out in the open, and then we picked up her car and headed home. Now i just have to wait till the morning to bring my stuff in so my mom doesn't see it ;)

I Feel Soo Special!
So today was a long day at work since like NO ONE came into the store! But i got to relax and anjoy some time outside with Syliva. And of course we got paid today, always a good day :) After work i headed over to the studio for dance. In jazz we went over our "Hunter" dance since we had to teach it to Adrianna!
Once we got through that we realized we had not listened to our tapes from D-Force. So i grabbed those and we popped our jazz tapes in the stereo. The 2 female judges said basically the same things "great attack, need to stay more together on your tunrs, great personalities". So we're thinkin' 'eh not too shabby'. Then we put in the guys tape, and right off the bat he's like "ooh great entrance, great costumes". and then at about the 35 second mark the guy pipes up again. "Ok. so. the girl in the centre at the back, the blonde. She's performing to 'beat the band'. And you all have to match performance quality. Like you're all terrific, but she's diggin' in her soul". That was ME :) I feel so special!! apparently the phrase "beat the band" means something good, i can't remember what Gwen said it meant exactly, but i have to say i felt damn special being mentioned!
So after that lovely moment we ran our Hunter dance again, then switched to tap. So i had brought in the tap tapes. Again we started with the 2 female judges. They again said most of the same things "be sure to watch your time at the beginning, these 3 dance really well together, great faces, you obviously know this dance really well there's no hesitation". Which if they'd seen the dance like 4 weeks ago, LOL ..::2-1-2-1-None::.. Then again on the guys tape, this time not till the end he starts singing our song, and then you hear him get this kinda raspy voice and he's like "Yah, Sell it. Selllll it Stage Left! Alright!! All you girls you're really 'livin it up' right now i'm lovin it. Totally enjoying this number its great. You did a great job of it. Right On. Love it. Fantastic. Good Job". All i have to say is this guy must've liked whatever i was doing that day cuz that was ME on stage left :) I dunno what came over me at this comeptition but I just have to say Mr. Danny James Austin just made my week!!! We're not exactly the most competitive studio and to be complimented like that was just awesome! I'm super happy bout that! These were like the best judges cuz they gave actual constructive critizm!!
Well...after all that excitement now i have to go to bed...we're off to BLO tomorrow!

!!OMG THE OC!!
Its official, if i didn't love the show before (which i did) i SOO love it now! That was a great season finale tonight! I'm SOO glad that Kirsten went pretty willingly into rehab, not that she didn't put up a fight but u know. And aw! All teary at the intervention! And I can't believe that Marissa shot Trey! I mean yay for her, but omg! Crazy! And i just have to say everyone's acting has improved 10 fold! 2000 fold for Mischa Barton!! And i'm sooo happy that Jimmy Cooper and Hayley are back! "The Cooper's making a comeback, who woulda thunk it"!
Other than the OC, nothing much happened today! Just worked 3-7. Good sleeping in days lately! Although i'm up at 830 am tomorrow! Always soo much harder when i'm sick. Working 10-4, dancing 5-8 then the DAYTIME EMMY AWARDS! WOo HOo!

America's Next Top Model is....NAIMA!!
YAY! I'm so excited that Naima won! I can't believe Kahlen was one of the final 2 tho! I so did NOT like that girl! But oh well.
As for my life the past few days? Nothing but work and dance and dance and work! I guess that's how it should be right? And of course i went tanning today! yay! first time in ONE WEEK! It was nice to feel the heat again!
There's really nothing else to report at this moment...can't wait to go to BLO on Saturday and the LONG WEEKEND! YAY Queen Victoria!

What A Boring Weekend!
Wow my first weekend free of dance, and it was a major bore! Of course it prolly didn't help too much that for some stupid reason i'm now sick :( Here is the run down...
Friday I went out to Alicia's to fix 2 songs of her's. Apparently she thought her students would be able to dance longer than they actually can ;) After that I came home, and found that i had some time to kill so i started watching "A Cinderella Story" love that movie! Of course i had to pause it and run to the studio cuz i was going to be late. Once at dance, we did our ENTIRE 'saucy lyrical'. We did jazz from 545ish till 730pm and Gwen choreographed our 2 minute & 20 second dance! Now ask me if I remember -- thats a whole other story! After dance Maria & I went to dinner at Greek and then i came home! woo hoo!
Saturday I worked 10-2pm and i nearly slept the whole time i was soo tired! After work i was going to hit the tanning bed, but i thought i would end up falling asleep instead, so i went home and took a nap. Then i went to Old Navy and found some velour coutoure for $5.99!! I was so excited! So i bought a pair of Yellow pants to make into capri's and a pair of green pants. Now all i need is a green jacket and I'm set! Then i had dinner at Casey's. A nice lasagna, but left me wanting more. Then I went to Walmart and bought my cooler on wheels! SOO excited :) And again i was home around like 1030pm! WOO HOO Although saturday night i had trouble sleeping cuz of this damn cough. Finally fell asleep around 4am!!
Sunday, all i did was watch tv, blow my nose and take drugs! I watched the movies "Richie Rich" and "D3: The Mighty Ducks" not to mention other countless tv shows! And then it was Desperate Housewives. Can't believe Carlos beat up the gay gardener! lol and Bree! WTF? still not 100% on why she didn't take Rex to the doctor right away. After DH was an AWESOME Crossing Jordan! But i can't watch the show anymore! If Dr. Macy leaves, and Woody is parallized?!? And i can't believe he sent Jordan away! Doesn't he know they're meant to be, just like Mary & Danny on Las Vegas!
Neways, i need to run to bed now, working all day tomorrow!

CALEB IS DEAD!!
So another boring day, although i got to sleep in - YAY! I went to work for 230pm and was there till 7pm. Then it was off to the Twins house for OC NIGHT. Only 1 episode left! I can't believe next week is the Season Finale and then there's NO OC till November 9th!!!! How crazy is that?!? And to boot, Caleb is dead! He had a heart attack and died! I mean i had a feeling he was going to be the one to go, but it was like bing bam boom he's gone! Crazy!
Its wierd...i still don't think that Amber (my cat) fully knows what happened to Matthew (her brother). Thankfully she doesn't seem to be suffering from depression! Although she still looks around the corner for her brother. And i swear i can still hear him crying to go outside from time to time. It'll be 1 week tomorrow...i can't believe it. I think it was good for me to be away last weekend. I needed to go and not think about it. Whether that has now made me suppress my feelings --although i'm sure i did enough crying last friday to last a while-- i'm glad i was able to have some fun last weekend ..::THANKS GIRLS::..

Picture Day 3
I swear the Recreational Saturday picture day is the LONGEST day of my life! I honestly never thought we were going to leave the studio! Doing the 2 baby ballet classes put us about 45 minutes late. And then i thought we were catching up, but somehow we still ended up finishing like 20 minutes late. Oh well what can u do?
That was pretty much my big day! i worked in the morning then went straight to the studio for pictures. We left the studio grabbed some dinner at Wendy's and went home. I made it home in time to see America's Next Top Model -- all i have to say is, go figure the white girls can't dance! And i'm SOOOOO starting to hate Keenyah! And i'm not that big of a fan of Cahlen either! And i can't believe Brittany got voted off, although i'm still rooting for Naima to win!

Picture Day 2
Dear Lord how i hate Recreational Picture Days!!!!!! The Competitive Picture Day when sooo smoothly! Prolly because we've had our costumes for like 3 months and when someone says "do your ending pose" we understand what that means too! Last night was very long! And transference is the most pain in the ass thing around! THe Big One has to learn to not yell at others, specially when they've done nothing wrong.
It was soo bad yesterday that I was in bed at 1030pm!!! It was an upsetting morning because I had planned to go out to Vaughan Mills to get my new makeup carrier (its a Tackle box that comes just above my knee and its ON WHEELS). Of course i called to make sure it was there before i drove out, and they didn't have any :( Soo upsetting! So then i went to Walmart and dropped $70 that i don't have on well, new pants and shoes for work and some makeup, not terrible i guess.
That was pretty much my day....1 more Picture Day to go! Oh yah and "Degrassi: The Next Generation" is shooting down the street from the studio on friday! How exciting :)

Picture Night Day 1
So up and adam this morning and off to work. I got up even earlier so that i could go and get the newest "Caboodle" like thing! Its a Super Sized Fishing Tackle box ON WHEELS!!! I've seen it around the past couple competitions and I've decided i need to get my own! So i went to Canadian Tire, but of course they don't have it. So then i went into work. I had 1 whole customer the whole time i was there. So i made my poster and straightened my hair!
Then after work i had to run home because i forgot my tap shirt since my mom ironed it in the morning. And then i went to get the pictures from the competition developed. And i was at the studio around 4pm. I put up the poster and pictures and started getting ready for a night of pictures! 5 hours of pictures! the most crazy thing in the world!
Everything was going pretty smoothly until Crabbukkit's pictures. KT, Clare & Amanda were late for the group (by like 5 seconds) so when they got there they redid Crabbukkit's picture which then put us behind. But we eneded around 930 which was pretty close to time. Marilyn ordered us some pizza (which was good cuz i was STARVING), although somehow we were supposed to get 4 pieces each and Amara & I only got 2, but whatever.
Then the funniest thing on the way home, Yara was talking about learning how to send a txt message from her cell and she was like "but melanie i don't have your number". Amara turns around to her sister and was like "you don't have her number? thats like not having 911!" lol don't know why but that had me laughing for nearly 20 minutes! Soo funny! lol.
I thank the Lord every day that i have all my girls in my life...honestly without them i just don't know what i would do. They make the dark days so bright! ..::THANKS GUYS, LOVE YOU::..

Silver is the New Platinum!!
Our last day of competition. Gwen & I were up at 8am! Not too bad, but i was still SOOO tired! We made it to the competition with 1 number till Dream thankfully i was able to make it backstage to wish the girls good luck before they went on! The girls did a great job and got a Silver. Then we had a bit of a break until We're In Trouble who recieved a Silver as well. Next up was another ballet Caprichio. They also went on short 1 dancer, and they got a Silver. Right after them was Take Me Higher who also received a Silver.
After lunch we got even busier. First up was Name Game who received a Gold (although they should have gotten a Diamond and taken their category, but who am I?) Right after them was my tap Trio Let's Live It Up and we got a Gold for our tap. Which was like 2 steps high mark wise from last week. Then it was Boogaloo who received a Silver.
After the next adjudication was Disco Inferno who received a Gold, and Boogie Wooggie Buggle Boy who got a Diamond. Then more back to back we had Raining Men and Because We Can who both got Silvers. 1 number later was My Perogative who did an awesome job and got a Gold. The last number of the night for us was my jazz Trust in which of course i fell out of the double into the jump right in the front middle so we got a Silver ..::SORRY GUYS::..
The last adjudication was the biggest representation of the studio we've ever had on a stage at 1 time so of course i got a picture ;) Also Dream the little ballet group was awarded 3rd Overall High Score Junior Group! Which was good for them, although we're still not sure how it happened. But all in all it was a fun weekend.
After the comp i went to dinner at Swiss Chalet with Amara, Yara &Ramona. Then headed for the long drive home. Came in and wished my mom a Happy Mother's Day and headed to bed.

D-Force
So its Day 1 of the D-Force Competition. After we have our early morning wake up call in Waterloo and get ready and head to Timmy's for breakfast we arrive at the competition just in time to make sure Brittany is ready to go on. And Whatever Lola Wants did an awesome job, she got a Diamond. Next up was Jeramiah Was A Bullfrog. Unfortunatly one of the girls didn't make it so they had to go on as a duet instead of a trio. The girls still did a great job and got a Gold. Then shortly after was Raspberry Beret Danielle did a great job and got a Gold this weekend, so she was really happy. Then we had Pump It Up who also recieved a Gold. And the Twins and their Fascinating Rhythm received a Diamond. We then had 2 more numbers in the Novice categories. Controversey who got a Silver and Dancin' Machine who got a Gold.
This competitions marking system was so screwy compared to the past few we've been at. The ranges were as follows: Crystal 85.999 and under, Silver 86-89.999, Gold 90-91.999, Diamond 92-93.999, Platinum 94+. Last weekend at StarCatchers, a Platinum was 86-92...so here we're getting silvers, but they are Platinum marks from last weekend....soooo random!!!
Then after lunch, our first number up was my lyrical I Hope You Dance we danced it better this weekend and got a Silver. It then became a very silver weekend...After my lyrical was the little Hot Stuff who also got a Silver. Following the little guys was Amara & Kelsey's Pink Panther Kelsey did her round off 2 back handspring tumbling pass for the first time, and it was THE best time i've seen the dance -- minus Amara falling out of her elbow balance, and they got a silver. then Amara had a fast change to If Mamma Was Married. They did a great job -- even tho Yara knocked over her chair lol, and they got a Gold. Then we had another acro, Wake Me Up held their tricks and did a great job, and got a silver.
Next up after adjudication was Take It To The Floor who recieved a Silver...now try explaining to little 8-11 yr old hip hoppers why they got a Platinum last weekend and a Silver this weekend -- sooo difficult!! Then 1 number later was Crabbukkit. They of course did a great job, and got a Gold. Rebecca's Musical Theatre solo followed and Nothing got a Silver. Our last number of the night was Amara's lyrical solo Foolish Games. She did a great job, although i still think StarCatchers was her flawless routine, and she got a Gold.
Then it was quick back to the hotel to jump in the pool. When we got there Jessie & Alexia were already in the pool so Amara Yara, Katie, Nathalie and I joined them and Naomi and of course we had to have chicken fights...boy does my neck hurt now. We had a short trip in the hot tub with Judith, Ramona, Rebecca and Kelsey and then in the sauna and then up to the rooms. The rest of my class came too (Ana, Adrianna, Andrea, Claudia & Maria). We wanted to go to the bar and have some dessert and drinks but APPARENTLY everything around there closes at 11pm! WTF is up with that?!? So we went back to our room ordered some stuff in and sat up and talked till 1am. Then Gwen, Adrianna & i went back to our room and Gwen went to sleep and Adrianna & I talked till 2:10 am! Then finally we went to bed...

So its Day 1 of the D-Force Competition. After we have our early morning wake up call in Waterloo and get ready and head to Timmy's for breakfast we arrive at the competition just in time to make sure Brittany is ready to go on. And Whatever Lola Wants did an awesome job, she got a Diamond. Next up was Jeramiah Was A Bullfrog. Unfortunatly one of the girls didn't make it so they had to go on as a duet instead of a trio. The girls still did a great job and got a Gold. Then shortly after was Raspberry Beret Danielle did a great job and got a Gold this weekend, so she was really happy. Then we had Pump It Up who also recieved a Gold. And the Twins and their Fascinating Rhythm received a Diamond. We then had 2 more numbers in the Novice categories. !!!!!!!!!!!!!RIP MATTHEW!!!!!!!!!!!!
So this morning i was woken up by my father telling me that Matthew (my cat) was badly hurt and I had to get ready to take him to the vet. I of course wanted to know how he got hurt. My mom said he fell in the toilet, and we thought that he broke either both his hind legs or maybe his back cuz he was crying in pain and when he moved the bottom half of his body just dragged behind him. We finally got him to the vet and we thought he was going into shock...the next thing i knew i couldn't hear him breathing. They took him into the room and were able to find a weak heartbeat...so of course i thought that was a good thing, a heart beat is still a heart beat. Next thing i know some guy brings me Matthew's carrier...and my mom comes out to tell me that Matthew passed away. Of course being me i totally lost it. I hate crying in front of others who are looking at you and aren't crying too, but i couldn't help it. We found out from the doctor that Matthew had a massive heart attack in the morning and a stroke. Apparently he has had a heart defect since birth that was undetectable. But most cats who have that defect only live to like the age of 2 or 3, luckily for me Matthew made it to 9! I cried the whole way home and all i could think about was his sister Amber. She was always the 'scaredy cat', i don't know what she'll do without her big brother to protect her!
So after a rough start to my day, i went to dancing where we prepared for our last competition. Go figure everyone was in pain! So we started working on our "saucy lyrical" for the show. And then we packed the car (Amara, Yara & Myself) and we drove to Waterloo. We checked into the hotel with Gwen and then headed to Jack Astor's for dinner. We had to eat fast tho so we could get back to the hotel and go swimming. After the swim we had our showers and piled into bed to get ready for a nice early morning.

Happy Cinqo De Maio!!
So another day another dollar! I worked 2-7pm today, and got to sleep in, only like the 3 day in 3 weeks! But its ok, i don't have an early morning tomorrow either thank goodness!
Tomorrow tho i have dance, and then i'm on my way to Waterloo! Yay Waterloo! Our last competition is this weekend, thank goodness! As much as I love it, its too much stress! Especially 3 weeks in a row! But what can u do when u live in a shoe?
The OC tonight was awesome! Of course as always! Mischa Barton's acting has MUCH improved i must say. She displayed some great acting while crying tonight! Very impressive! And poor Kirsten! Drinking & Driving is never an option! Thats pretty much it for today. I'll be gone for the weekend, so the next time I'll be writting is prolly Sunday night or Monday!

Star Catchers Day 4!
Thank God its the last day. I mean its been fun, but Dear Lord am I tired!
So we were the 2nd dance this morning, and I had to run and pick up Robbie, Katelyn & Marilyn before i headed out too! "Dream" was the opening ballet and they got 2nd place Gold. Then it was "Caprichio" who also got 2nd place Gold. I swear there was no rhyme or reason to the judges marking this weekend! Sooo totally random!
Then we had "Boogaloo" who tied for 2nd with a Gold. They tied with "Its Hockey Night"!, so shouldn't have happened! It was an interesting concept, but there was like NO Dancing, and last time i checked this was a DANCE competition! But whatever, who am I to say nething?!?
Next up was "Hot Stuff" who danced like the best i've seen it! They were together and it looked really good! Unfortunatly the judges didn't see what i saw, they got 4th place Gold!
We then did the tap duet right close to them, and "Take Me Higher" got a 4th place Gold as well. Another rip off cuz there were at least 2 dances in their category that did NOTHING, but whatever!
After lunch was "Insane In The Brain". Again another tap getting ripped off they got a Gold and the "Sibling Teamwork Award", but they were much better than a couple of the other duets!!!
After them was "Name Game" they got 3rd place Platinum. And "CrabBukkit" did another awesome job and they came in 3rd out of 5 with a Platinum! They even beat a dance from DDC! ..::WAY2GO Girls&Boy!!::..
After Dinner was Amara & Yara's "If Mamma Were Married" they got a Platinum and took their category! I think that was more exciting for me than for them. it was the Face off of the "If Mamma Were Married's" Since one from Jacquline's which always took their category faced off against ours! But Amara & Yara pulled it off :) Soo excited!
Well that was the end of another long weekend. I think had to come home and clean and I'm not just awaiting to hear from my parents that they've landed in Toronto so i can go and pick them up from the airport! I'm sitting here talking to Mike and he's making me feel nervous about his surgery next week! I know he'll be fine, but u know!

Star Catchers Day 3!!
Ok, so I got a bit of a sleep in this morning, but i'm still BEAT!! We started off today with the Rec Tap "Dancin' Machine". They did an awesome job and got 1st place Gold and the "Super Synchro Award"! So great for them their first time out!
Next up was "Because We Can" who were dancing ahead because of the Wexford Show. They got a Platinum and the "Most Visually Entertaining Award". Not too shabby for dancing out of sequence with their category!
After lunch, our first number was "Fascinating Rhythm". The twins did a great job, they got 1st place, but only got a Gold...this is their lowest mark so far this season! Don't know what the judges were looking for, but obviosuly they didn't find it in them!
Next came the 2 Jazz Duets ... the Rec Jazz class "Pump It Up" who came in 2nd with a Silver, and then Kendra & Hilary's "Controversy" who came in 3rd with a Silver. Don't know what happened there either!
Danielle's solo was next and she was so nervous! She did a great job with "Raspberry Berret", she got 2nd place Silver and the "Excellent Extension Award".
We then had a bit of a break before our next dance which was "Its Raining Men". They had a music malfunction, but went out and pulled it off nicely, and got a Platinum! And of course last of the night was "Trust". I swear these people were trying to kill me. First 1 number to change last night and then tonight there was like a 20 minute pause before they announced my jazz! But we went out and pulled off a half decent performance. We "sexed it up" as Andrea loves to say! We got 1st place Platinum! So i left happy this evening! Then we headed to Andrea's house for dinner. Some nice Chicken Soulvaki and home-made titziki! Yummie! Of course i didn't get home till 2am, its not like i have to get up at like 6am or anything! Oh well, at least I don't have to dance tomorrow!

Star Catchers Day 2
Wow, a sleep in day! Today we don't start till 5pm! But we're the 5th dance of the day, which means i needed to get there at 430pm. Of course because I'm dancing tonight i'm running late. I made it in time to get Jessie & Lexie for "We're In Trouble" and take them backstage. I swear this was their best time out! They actually looked like they were dancing a duet!!! They got a 2nd place Platinum! ..::yay girls::..
then 2 dances later was "Boogie Woogie Buggle Boy". Kendra did a good job, much better faces this time around and she got 2nd place out of 5 and a Platinum!
Next up was the little hip hop. "Take It To The Floor" got a 3rd place Platinum and the "Neat & Tidy Award"! For the first time out, i think they did a great job!
Katelyn's tap solo followed and "Like I Love You" got a Gold! We got Robbie's "Used To Love You" moved to Novice! He got 1st place Platinum!
Then the girls busted out "My Perogative". Great sell and they got 3rd place Platinum!!! ..::awesome job ladies! my little girls are growing up *tear*::..
Then was the most hellish time of my life! I had my tap trio, "Let's Live It Up" got 1st place Gold, but then i had 1 Dance, thats right ONE DANCE to change my hair, tights, makeup, bra & costumes & shoes to Lyrical! But with the help of my girls ..::thanks again guys::.. i did it. Although i still couldn't breathe when i went on for "I Hope You Dance" but hopefully the not breathing worked for the emotion! lol. We ended up with a Gold. Not terrible. And that was the end of another competition night.
After that, Robbie, Katelyn, Marilyn and I went to Denny's for dinner. I swear to God i love that place! It was good, but i didn't get home till 1am and then i have to get up again at 830 am :( oh well.

Star Catchers Day 1
So another comp of course, i mean who needs more than a 3 day break between them?!? This comp is going to be interesting because Taylor Studios is there (the studio i started dancing at), Durham Dance Centre is there (my cousin's studio which i danced at for 5 years), and Jacquline's School of Dance (where Gwen also teaches) is there as well. Not to mention the rift between Tammy (DDC) and Jacquline! Oh well what can you do?
Today we started off at the Ajax Comminity Centre. And interesting set-up, a rented thin floor layed out on the cement, but whatever! Another bright and early start cuz Leah danced at 930am! She did an awesome job with her solo, specially considering what had happened the week before! She came in 3rd out of 5 with a Gold.
Then i had a break until the little acro "Wake Me Up". But i was there to start warming them up because they arrived when Leah was going on for adjudication. Since i was being Diane & myself on the thursday, it kept me busy! "Wake Me Up" did a great job too, they actually held all their tricks, Kelly was so excited lol! They got a 2nd place Gold. Then it was time to get Amara ready, since she was first up after lunch for "Foolish Games". She did a BEAUTIFUL job! The best i'd seen it, but was only given a Gold...however, Sarah (Jacquline's daughter) was only awarded a gold aswell, so it didn't sting AS much! But it was still very confusing! After Amara was Miss Brittany's MT solo. She was so cute and nervous!
Brittany's solo was entered in Open and not Novice, even though she should have been Novice, but my little Britt went out there with her "Whatever Lola Wants" and rocked that sh$t!! She got 1st place in her category and a Platinum!! ..::YAY Britt! So Proud of You!!::..
Rebecca danced "Nothing" right after her, and she too did an awesome job! Much better than last weekend, and she was rewarded with a Platinum as well.

Kelly did her Modern Solo for Denise Lester's and she did a great job! Coming from someone who doesn't really understand or generally like Modern, it was awesome! She got 1st place Platinum and she also got the Starbirght Award (90+ from all 3 judges) and the Starlight Award (highest mark of the session)! ..::WAY2GO Kelly!!! I knew u could do it!::..
That was the end of a LONG day! Tomorrow we move to the high school!

She got 1st place Platinum and she also got the Starbirght Award (90+ from all 3 judges) and the Starlight Award (highest mark of the session)! ..::WAY2GO Kelly!!! I knew u could do it!::..
That was the end of a LONG day! Tomorrow we move to the high school!

BBQ at My House!
I didn't even mention before that my parents left for Florida, unfortunatly for me its the busiest week of my life and thats the one they choose to go away for, of course! Oh well, my one day off of doing things, besides work, i'm having a BBQ at my house! yay!
So i went to work this morning, and then hit the tanning bed on my way home since i had to clean up and start cooking! Got all the cleaning done with plenty of time before the twins showed up and we started cooking.
We had some great burgers, and steak, and pork chops and chicken! Yummie Yummie! I must say the first BBQ of the season was a success!
We then of course hopped into the car and drove to Krispy Kremes for some donughts that we didn't need, and then we had to run by the studio cuz i had to pick up a CD for thursday morning. Jennie is spending the night which is a nice change from being all alone! I only get scared at night! During the day its great, its when all the creaks come out and its all dark, even with the alarm set i still get scared, so it'll be nice to have someone else in the house tonight. Even tho i have to get up at 6am tomorrow, oh well!

Footloose Day 2
So we start off another early morning with "Name Game" and the girls came in 3rd out of 5 with a High Silver! Then we had "Its Raining Men" who came in 4th with a Silver -- they so deserved higher, but i'm not the judge so whatever.
Then was Amara's Jazz Solo "Born To Be Wild". She only got a High Silver for this one, but she did an awesome job! Then she had like 12 numbers to change for her lyrical solo "Foolish Games" for that she got 4th place Gold. And Amara was also nominated to the EXTREME TEAM!! YAY AMARA!!
Then was Rebecca's "Nothing" for which she got a Silver, again not a silver performance, but i swear these judges did NOT know what Musical Theatre was! After Rebecca was "Hot Stuff". The little ones came in 3rd with a High Silver! Then it was time for the tap "Boogaloo" they came in 4th with a High Silver as well.
"Crabbukkit" was next, they did an awesome job! Cleaner than Collingwood, but not as fun ;) They got 1st place Platinum. They also got 3rd Overall High Score Senior Large Group!! Next was "My Perogative" who got 5th place High Silver. And Because We Can was right after, they got 4th place High Silver. Now of course with Because We Can there was an incident....of course it couldn't go smoothly. The girls did an awesome job, but one of them threw up on stage in the middle of the dance! Now granted most people would have freaked out and ran off, but she kept going. Unfortunatly for the other girls they had to ROLL around in her puke! And poor Matt had to clean it up, but what can u do? This is now refered to as "the Fruit Incident" lol.
After all that fun, Amara, Yara, Danielle, Katie & I piled into the car and drove over to Stage 1 to see Mike again. This time we came bearing a Card for him that all the little ones signed. The girls got to show him their "Go Mike" dance and even though we only had like 10 minutes with him, everyone left happy -- at least i'd like to think! After which we were all hungry so we headed to Pizza Hut! Oh my, why i put myself in these positions i'll never know, but we nearly busted a gut while we were eating cuz we were all really tired and goofy, but it was fun :)
All in all i think it was a good weekend, it was great to see Mike since I didn't think i was going to see him at all! And the girls are trying to get him to come to the recital now which should be interesting :) thats it for now.

Footloose Day 1
So of course we have an early start! I mean we weren't the first ones there, but it was still early for me! "Controversy" went first and got a High Silver. Next up was "Fascinating Rhythm" those tappin twins :) they got 1st place Platinum!! Leanna & Charlotte also won 3rd Overall High Score Novice -- so of ALL the Novice, solos, duet/trios of all ages they came 3rd! Awesome job girls!
Next up was Robbie's tap Solo "Used To Love You" he got 2nd place Gold! Robbie was also nominated for the EXTREME TEAM!!! YAY!!! After Robbie was Jessie & Lexie's "We're In Trouble". They got 4th place High Silver. then it was "Insane In The Brain" Robbie & Katelyn's duet, they also got 4th place High Silver.
Then it was time for Little Leah's jazz solo "Disco Inferno". My heart broke as she danced because she kept forgetting parts. She kept going, but you could tell she'd forgotten! She got a High Silver for it tho, which is still good.
Then Little Miss Kendra's tap solo "Boogie Woogie Buggle Boy" she got 2nd place Platinum! Awesome job for her. And Katelyn's tap solo "Like I Love You" she got a High Silver and the "Tap Diva Award".
Then into the evening was Amara & Kelsey's "Pink Panther" they got 2nd place High Silver, and Amara & Yara's "If Mamma Were Married" got 3rd place and a Silver!! How they went from winning an overall the weekend before to a freakin Silver this weekend i'll NEVER understand!
We didn't stay for the last adjudication because I went over to Stage 1 to say 'hi' to Mike. We got to chat for maybe 20 mins...he's such a busy boy when he's working those things! But it was good to see him. And i got to tell him that the girls and I would be back on Sunday!
I got home around midnight, to get back up at 6am! yay! day 2 tomorrow!!

1 More Day, 2 More Sleeps Till Footloose!!
Ok, so only 1 more day...and now i'm starting to get nervous!
I went in to get the safety check done on my car today -- $80.49 for that, then they tell me the stupid little stone chip thats been in the windshield since the summer i got the freakin car is apparently a safety hazzard -- well thats only $50 fine. Then the Tire Rod has to be replaces and a wheel alignment done -- there's $300! Do these people think i'm made of money? If this car isn't like perfect once all this is done, wtf! There's been more money put in this car in the last liks 2 months than has been in the past 4 years! I just don't understand!
But tonight being Thursday was OC Night - Yay! The show was great, but then again i could be a little biased ;) Got my copy of the Hillary Duff pic from LA. I'll get around to getting it scanned or whatever to put up on here soon! Prolly not till after the weekend tho since its going to be another LONG weekend! Thats about it for now. Better get back to the laundry!

2 More Days Till Footloose!!
So ok, i'm getting a little behind on updating, but i've realized my life really isn't that exciting All i do is go to work, go to dancing, come home! Woo Hoo! Although today I did go tanning, and thats always fun!
2 Days till Footloose -- I'm soo upset to be at Stage 2 its not even funny! Of course Mike is working Stage 1, so I won't get to see him...which was kinda the whole point for me going to Footloose -- lol j/k. I have to be there for my girls of course! ..::Love You Guys::.. But at least Stages 1 & 2 aren't too far apart so i'll swing out to Stage 1 and say 'hi' to Mike at least! ah well wh can u do?
Jennie and the Twins came back from Las Vegas on Tuesday, and when they were visiting L.A. they ran into Hillary Duff & Joel from Good Charlotte shopping, so of course they took a pic for me :) It will be loaded up here tomorrow prolly! Neways, i think thats it for now.

A Long 48 Hours!
Yesterday (Sunday) started off pretty normal. Woke my butt up at 9am, went downstairs to watch some tv. I watched: Scooby Doo 2, Cellular, and The Bachelor. Then it was time to get ready to go to the movies with Len. We went to see Guess Who. A very cute movie, although it dragged a bit in the middle and i wanted more of an end (like I always do), but overall very enjoyable! Then after the movie, we went to Denny's for dinner. We got out there I'd say around 10pm...we stayed and talked till 2am! It was a very good long definatly needed talk :) Thanks Len .::HUGS::.
Today was hellish, getting up at 830am after getting to bed at 3am. I'm already not a morning person, and that was just mean! I worked 10-4, then i was at the studio 430-10pm then home. So now i have lots of tv to catch up on before i hit the hay. But i have to get up early again tomorrow morning to go and pick Jennie and the Twins up from the airport. And that will begin another LONG day! Oh well, no rest for the wicked!

1oo kms in 13 hours!
I swear I spent the majority of the day today in my car! i drove from home to work in the morning. Then from the store i went to pick up Amara, then i drove to the studio. Danced for 1 hour, then went to pick up Katie. Then we drove back to the store to pick up Mary Anne, then we drove back to the studio to pick up Clare. then we drove to Jack Astors for dinner. $120 later, we then drove Mary Anne back to the store to get her jacket, then to Yonge & Eglinton to get the subway. Then we drove Clare home, then to Greg's house, then to Katie's friend Becca's house (which we were lost for at least 15 mins), then to Warden Station, then i came home!
Damn, I'm tired just writting all that down.
So its day 2 of Jennie and the Twins in Las Vegas. Thankfully I've been able to fill my days with things to do so I don't start to get restless sitting at home. Lenny and I are going to the movies tomorrow night, so we have one less day alone! Thats pretty much it for now.

Avenue Q
Anyone who is looking for a musical with a bit of edge should definatly check out AVENUE Q! This musical is now playing on Broadway in New York and from the soundtrack and what i've heard of it seems to be an awesome musical! With songs like "Everyone's A Little Bit Racist" and "What Do You Do With A B.A. in English" the songs are so real and truely funny!
Ok, now that my public service announcement is over... ;) Today was pretty uneventful...yesterday i was able to hit the tanning bed again, so the tan is coming along quite nicely now ;) Today i had to work which is always fun, but i was able to order hats for my tap dance which is always a good thing since we do need them rather soon!
So now i have to go and watch the rest of the OC and watch Tru Calling. Since i had to go and take Katie home from dance and we stopped to grab a bite to eat, i missed them both, thankfully i had a tape rolling :)

Today was a day like any other day.
I got up at 11am, well actually 10:40am. Went downstairs to watch some tv, and tried to sleep some more, which didn't really happen. Then i realized that i needed to burn some CDs for a couple of kids whose parents had requested pictures from the competition. So i can upstairs and did that.
Then it was almost time to start getting ready for dancing. I had to run to walmart on my way in to the studio to look for our tap shirt. The damn shirt is the hardest thing i've EVER had to find! So now i have 2, but i need 3. I might have to change the shirts all together cuz i can't find one i like. But i did get Claudia's eyelashes and glue! And i found a new lipstick for myself. Its a Cover Girl Wet Slicks, its a light pink sparkly colour -- its called TUTU :) I thought it fitting! So of course i had to buy it :)
I then headed over to the studio. I wanted to be there tonight to hear all the judges comments since there were some questionable decisions! The one i wanted to hear the most was for Because We Can. The judges had mostly nice things to say. In a 3 minute dance, all u say is "be sure to point your toes, pull up on ur turns, and oh great! nice energy!" and then give them an 84?!?! I just don't understand! Oh well, thankfully we still have 3 more competitions to attend!
Thats it for now, gotta go and take out the garbage.

Bedazzled Baybee!! What A Weekend!!
So friday, bright and early i started my drive to Collingwood. 2 hours and 5 minutes later I arrived at the Blue Mountain Resort Inn all ready for the competiton to start.
First up was Boogie Woogie Buggle Boy, Little Kendra. And she did a great little job, and got a High Gold, 2nd place in her category. Then it was time for Fascinating Rhythm. The twins (Charlotte & Leanna) were very nervous, but they did a great job, and they got 1st in their category and a High Gold. They also won Overall High Score Novice 11-12 yrs. Soo happy for them! Next up was Controversey ... Hilary & Kendra had a bit of trouble with their dance, and got a High Silver.
Then into the afternoon we had If Mamma Were Married. A great little Musical Theatre number by Amara & Yara, they won 1st place in the category, a High Gold, Judges Choice "Broadway Bound", AND Overall High Score Musical Theatre/Song & Dance/Vocal Duet/Trio Intermediate! WAY TO GO GIRLS!!! Then it was time for Name Game...So cute are they! My little jazzers! They got 2nd place in their category and a High Gold. Then it was Disco Inferno, little Leah's jazz solo. She cam in 3rd in her category with a Gold. Dissappointing for her, but still a good job! Then Last of the night was Boogaloo the little tappers. They came in 1st in their category with a High Gold.
So after all that competition, i went to dinner with Diane, Gwen, Jackie & Edie. We found this cute little restaurant just down the street from our hotel. It was kinda slow, but good food. Or maybe it was just slow cuz i wanted to get back and into the POOL!
We finally got back to our great little resort. ($79/night for a Queen Bed, a Pull out couch, Cable TV with VCR, Fireplace, walk out balcony, fridge, stove, dishwasher, microwave, dishes, jacuzzi tub, outdoor HEATED Pool, hot tub! what more can u ask for?!?). I ran to my room to change into my bathing suit and join the girls in the pool! I swear we stayed in the pool for nearly 1.5 hours!! Doing lifts and throws and chicken fights. All the fun stuff. Then we all decided to pile into the hot tub. Once we were in there the little ones decided to start singing "If Mamma Were Married", so we all joined in and sang at the top of our lungs. I think we ended up alienating the other people around because they all left. Oh well more fun for us :) While in the hot tub i gained a few more nick names... the God of Dance Vibes, the Cesar of Dance, and everyone's Dance Mom. Whatever works I guess.
Then we went back to Kendra's room for some birthday cake, since it was Kendra's birthday on Thursday, and Leah's birthday on Friday (HAPPY BIRTHDAY GIRLS). Then it was over to Kelsey & Rebecca's room to have some hang time. While we were there, the biggest come back of the night was from Naomi when she continuously called her sister a "Chien"! It was the funniest thing! And then Rebecca proceeded to tell her sister hat she was going to become a Porn Star, in which Naomi responded with "I'm not going to be a Porn Star, even if they ask me, I'll just say no!". So cute. A late night, then back to the room to sleep for a few hours, get up and do it all over again.
Saturday morning, the alarm clock went off at 6AM!!! And we didn't set it! So we got back to sleep for like 45 minutes before our wakeup call came. So we have breakfast with Kendra cuz apparently our bagels tasted better than hers, and then head out to the competition. I'm not even there 2 minutes and Diane starts to yell at me that i'm late...it was like 8:15am! Its not my fault the kids were freaking out that i wasn't there yet. So we go in the change room and calm Jessie & Alexia down and up to the stage to do Trouble, their jazz duet. They ended up 2nd in their category with a Gold. Then it was time for Hot Stuff, the little jazz group who got a Gold. Then it was Raining Men. These girls did an awesome job, made my favourite part big, just for me :) And they were 1st in their category with a Gold. Next was Katelyn & Robbie's tap duet - Insane in the Brain. They got 3rd in their category with a High Gold and were awarded a Judges Choice award, the "Hoofing Award". After them was a big break for lunch which for now i have no idea how i spent it. After lunch we had to get Amara & Kelsey's Pink Panther acro duet ready. They were 1st in their category with a Gold. They also won "Overall High Score Acro Duet/Trio Intermediate". Yay for them, even tho we ALL know the dance wasn' 100%!!!!
After that adjudication we all headed to Pizza Hut for dinner. The find times sharing pizzas! Then again back to the hotel for more swimming. This time it was only Amara, Yara, Kendra and myself in the pool, and Robbie & Katelyn came to watch. We swam for what seemed like hours, as Amara & I tried the "Dirty Dancing Lift" soo not as easy as Patrick Swayze makes it seem in the movie! Then we hung out in the hot tub for a while. When we started to prune, we got out and went back to Amara & Yara's room to make some cookies. Once they were baked we took some to Gwen, and then some to Dena, Danielle & Jonathan's room. We hung out there for a while, as the younger ones threatened to join some random person's party in room 313. Then we spent some time walking the grounds before we called it a night.
Again bright and early Sunday morning the alarm clock went off at 6AM!! We forgot to make sure it was turned off. Then we fell back asleep awaiting our wake up call that never came. We got up at about 710 am and had to hustle to get to the competition for 8am for Katelyn's Like I Love You tap solo. She did a great job and received a High Gold. Gwen thought she'd take the category or at least come in 2nd...even the girl who placed second came up to Katelyn to tell her she should have come in second. Then we went back to the hotel to have some breakfast, watch some tv, and check out. We then still had time to kill so we went to Canadian Tire and Zellers to do some browsing. Then it was lunch time so Gwen and i headed to Subway. After lunch we headed back to the competition where Because We Can was starting to arrive. I ushered the girls down to the changeroom and they began to get ready. They to were jipped by the judges and received a Gold. They came in 4th, but there was at least 1 if not 2 groups in their category who they were better than and i just don't know what happened.
Next up was Robbie's Used to Love You tap solo. I was sooo proud of Robbie, and i'm sure it helped that the girls were in the audience cheering him on. His sounds were so clear and he was smiling! Even Jonathan had to turn to me and ask who that person was out there dancing his number! Unfortuantly the judges didn't agree with us, but Robbie received a High Gold and was 4th place. Next up was Amara's Foolish Games lyrical solo. In a category of 6, Amara finished 4th behind 'gangliy girl', 'twisted colours' and 'the good one', with a High Gold. Then we had our big dinner break, so Diane and headed to "The Village" for dinner. We ended up at the Fire Hall Pizza Place. Great food, although a bit steep ($20 for a Chicken Ceasar Salad -no garlic bread- and a Diet Coke?!? Common). Then we headed back to the competition for Crabbucket. My biggest thing with these guys was for them to go out and have fun with their dance. The majority of their costume came from H&M (of which i'm getting Katelyn's hat when their done - love it!) and its a good dance, they just need to relax and enjoy it! And they went out there and it seemed like they did. The judges obviously liked it cuz they ended up 2nd place with an EMERALD!! The highest mark for our studio for that competition. One of the judges gave them a 95 out of a possible 100!! Thats awesome for them, i was so happy!
After the adjudication Amara, Clare & I piled into my car, having issues with getting all our bags and the chairs into the trunk, but we did it, and started on our way home. After stopping at Tim Hortons to get some drinks and timbits for the ride home, and after Amara yelled at the lady cuz at first she said she didn't have any timbits, we were on our way. About 1 hour into the drive home i realize that the road didn't look familiar anymore. I couldn't understand why i wasn't in Barrie about to get onto the 400. I kept driving because i couldn't find anything open at midnight on a sunday! Next thing i know we're passing an Airport Road, Caledona East, and then we're in Brampton. Finally i find somewhere to stop and figure out how to get the the 410, then 401 to get my butt home! I finally drop Clare off at like 1:15am, and Amara at like 1:30am. I get in my door at 1:35pm. Of course i have emails to send and so i start uploading pictures to the comp and sending my emails. I think i fell asleep sometime around 2:30am this morning.
When the alarm went off at 8am i thought i was dreaming, unfortunatlty i was not. I got up went to school, came home and made my poster for the girls, then went and got my pictures developed from Shoppers. $8.99 for 31 pictures, not too shabby. All the girls were of course excited to see the poster and pictures, and then we had a great night.
What a LONG 4 days it has been. Its not 12:13am and i am TIRED, so I'm going to bed.

So friday, bright and early i started my drive to Collingwood. 2 hours and 5 minutes later I arrived at the Blue Mountain Resort Inn all ready for the competiton to start.
First up was Boogie Woogie Buggle Boy, Little Kendra. And she did a great little job, and got a High Gold, 2nd place in her category. Then it was time for Fascinating Rhythm. The twins (Charlotte & Leanna) were very nervous, but they did a great job, and they got 1st in their category and a High Gold. They also won Overall High Score Novice 11-12 yrs. Soo happy for them! Next up was Controversey ... Hilary & Kendra had a bit of trouble with their dance, and got a High Silver.
Then into the afternoon we had If Mamma Were Married. A great little Musical Theatre number by Amara & Yara, they won 1st place in the category, a High Gold, Judges Choice "Broadway Bound", AND Overall High Score Musical Theatre/Song & Dance/Vocal Duet/Trio Intermediate! WAY TO GO GIRLS!!! Then it was time for Name Game...So cute are they! My little jazzers! They got 2nd place in their category and a High Gold. Then it was Disco Inferno, little Leah's jazz solo. She cam in 3rd in her category with a Gold. Dissappointing for her, but still a good job! Then Last of the night was Boogaloo the little tappers. They came in 1st in their category with a High Gold.
So after all that competition, i went to dinner with Diane, Gwen, Jackie & Edie. We found this cute little restaurant just down the street from our hotel. It was kinda slow, but good food. Or maybe it was just slow cuz i wanted to get back and into the POOL!
We finally got back to our great little resort. ($79/night for a Queen Bed, a Pull out couch, Cable TV with VCR, Fireplace, walk out balcony, fridge, stove, dishwasher, microwave, dishes, jacuzzi tub, outdoor HEATED Pool, hot tub! what more can u ask for?!?). I ran to my room to change into my bathing suit and join the girls in the pool! I swear we stayed in the pool for nearly 1.5 hours!! Doing lifts and throws and chicken fights. All the fun stuff. Then we all decided to pile into the hot tub. Once we were in there the little ones decided to start singing "If Mamma Were Married", so we all joined in and sang at the top of our lungs. I think we ended up alienating the other people around because they all left. Oh well more fun for us :) While in the hot tub i gained a few more nick names... the God of Dance Vibes, the Cesar of Dance, and everyone's Dance Mom. Whatever works I guess.
Then we went back to Kendra's room for some birthday cake, since it was Kendra's birthday on Thursday, and Leah's birthday on Friday (HAPPY BIRTHDAY GIRLS). Then it was over to Kelsey & Rebecca's room to have some hang time. While we were there, the biggest come back of the night was from Naomi when she continuously called her sister a "Chien"! It was the funniest thing! And then Rebecca proceeded to tell her sister hat she was going to become a Porn Star, in which Naomi responded with "I'm not going to be a Porn Star, even if they ask me, I'll just say no!". So cute. A late night, then back to the room to sleep for a few hours, get up and do it all over again.
Saturday morning, the alarm clock went off at 6AM!!! And we didn't set it! So we got back to sleep for like 45 minutes before our wakeup call came. So we have breakfast with Kendra cuz apparently our bagels tasted better than hers, and then head out to the competition. I'm not even there 2 minutes and Diane starts to yell at me that i'm late...it was like 8:15am! Its not my fault the kids were freaking out that i wasn't there yet. So we go in the change room and calm Jessie & Alexia down and up to the stage to do Trouble, their jazz duet. They ended up 2nd in their category with a Gold. Then it was time for Hot Stuff, the little jazz group who got a Gold. Then it was Raining Men. These girls did an awesome job, made my favourite part big, just for me :) And they were 1st in their category with a Gold. Next was Katelyn & Robbie's tap duet - Insane in the Brain. I think i burnt my bum!
So another day chocked full of fun! I worked 10-4pm, then had to run out to Thornhill to Dance Essentials to drop off and pick up some costumes. Oh yah only 2 more sleeps till the competition and i'm still just picking up some cosutmes! what can u do?
Then i went home and waited for Jennie to call after work. Today was our first tanning session of this year :) yay!! I love tanning! And the sad part is that after 5 minutes, i swear my bum is a bit burnt...and i can already see colour which is great. Jennie was in for 4 minutes which was a lot more than she was planning on...she wanted to go for 2 ;) She was a little red in the cheeks, but i think it'll turn out ok.
I'm still super excited for Collingwood! Can't wait to go swimming. The sad part of that is that i still can't find the bottoms for one of my bathing suits, so i guess i'll just have to mix & match!

3 More Sleeps to Collingwood!
I think i'm officially starting to drive people nuts talking about this first competition! I just can't help how excited i am! The sad part is that its not even excited for the dancing ;) And i'm not the only one!
Amara is the one who said to me yesterday "i'm more excited about the partying than the dancing". This is a first for us to have so many of our studio staying at the same hotel! Its awesome! We even have 2 birthdays while we're there... Kendra & Leah! So we're gonna have cake and fun stuff, plus they have an OUTDOOR HEATED POOL!!! I think thats one of the things i'm most excited about :) I'm sure to have pictures and detailed info when I get home on sunday!
As for today, it was a pretty restful tuesday...i lounged around the house, then went to walmart to try and find eyelashes and a dress shirt for Claudia, of course found none. Then i went to get Mimi's curling iron from her, then off to dancing. 430-1030 again this week - oh joy oh bliss. But i got to straighten Katelyn's ringlets, and curl Yara's straight hair, so all in all i guess it was a good one.
